Terms

Prices are in US dollars and exclude taxes, duties, and shipping, which are shown at checkout. Payment is due at checkout unless we've agreed to invoice terms or a purchase order in writing. Payments are processed by Stripe, and your card details never reach our servers. An order is accepted when we confirm it by email. We may cancel an order and refund you in full if a product is unavailable, if there's a pricing or listing error, or if we can't ship to your location.

These terms also apply when you order through our orders API or an AI assistant connected to our MCP server. Those only create an unpaid order and a checkout link; nothing is charged until someone pays on the checkout page. An assistant can misunderstand a request, so check the design, quantity, and price there before you pay. Please don't use them to overload the service or get around its rate limits.

We ship from San Francisco, to US addresses only, or you can choose free San Francisco Pickup. Delivery estimates are our best guess, not a guarantee. Risk of loss passes to you on delivery. Details are in our shipping policy. Please inspect your order on arrival and report damage within 14 days.

Every wire harness is made to order, so all sales are final and we don't accept returns. If a wire harness arrives damaged or defective, email support@almond.bot within 14 days of delivery and we'll repair or replace it, as described in the returns policy, which is part of these terms. Beyond that, and to the extent the law allows, our products are provided as is, without any other warranty, express or implied, including merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.

Our wire harnesses are custom components intended for research, development, and industrial use by trained operators. You are responsible for checking that your design, including its pinout and wire gauge, suits your application, and for installing, powering, and operating it safely, following our documentation, and carrying out your own risk assessment for your environment and application.

Our products are not designed or certified for medical, life-support, or other safety-critical uses, or for use around children.

The Almond and Acorn Harness names and logos, and the content on this site, belong to Almond AI, Inc. You may use our drawings, specs, and documentation to integrate and operate our products. Please don't use our branding to suggest we endorse your product without asking first.

To the extent the law allows, Almond is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including lost profits, lost data, or downtime, arising from our products or this site. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the product that gave rise to it. Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits, so they may not fully apply to you.

Our products are subject to US export laws. You agree not to export, re-export, or transfer them in violation of those laws, and you represent that you are not located in, or acting for, a country or party subject to US sanctions.

• These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, and any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts in San Francisco, California.
• If part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies.
• We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted here when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
• A written agreement signed by both of us, such as a quote or purchase agreement, takes precedence over these terms where they conflict.
